MENTOR, Ohio -- Mentor police and the Lake County Sheriff's Department responded to a flipped car near the intersection of Bellflower Road and Independence Drive.
Police on scene told WKYC Channel 3 they were chasing a suspect when the suspect's car crashed into a police cruiser and then flipped.
The suspect was injured and taken away by ambulance. One officer was also injured during the incident. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
